The Classi Waterproofing Kit is made for use in wet rooms and is designed to waterproof the whole area. The Classi Waterproofing kit will target the problem area preventing any leaks.
Tiling can be done immediately after the Wet Room Kit has been installed.

The majority of water leaks in showering areas occur between the ledge of the shower tray or bath and the wall. However water can also get through cracks high above the bottom ledge in cracks in the grout between tiles and in the corners. Classi Waterproofing Kit for shower trays and baths is a belts and braces waterproofing product. First Classi Plus is applied to the wall touching sides of the shower tray or bath. This is then bonded to the wall with C2 tile adhesive. C2 Tile adhesive is then applied in front of the upstand and up the wall, to which the Classi waterproofing membrane is pushed into. Excess air is removed and the process is repeated until the showering area has been covered with membrane. Special corner and joint tape is used in the corners pipe collars and are also supplied in the kit. The process takes approximately 1 hour and after this tiling can begin in the normal way.
To many people the thought of putting in a wet room showering area is dismissed because of the problems with waterproofing. With our Classi Waterproofing Kit for Wetrooms you can have a wet room in any room of your house. It is down to personal preference how the correct fall to the waste is achieved, either by using a wet room former tray or having your installer screed the fall to the waste, generally on a wooden floor a former tray will be used.
Having created the fall to the waste, you apply C2 tile adhesive to the floor with a 4mm square notch trowel. Overlay the membrane and with the back of the trowel expel all air. Special wastes are available that clamp around the membrane, ensuring that any water leaks get diverted down the gulley. Next apply the corner pieces, again on top of tile adhesive and expelling air. Next we join the floor to the wall with the corner and joint tape, and when completed we apply the membranes to the wall. Pipe collars are also included in the kit. Tiling can begin immediately in the normal way.
